April - News
So our students went on outreach about two weeks ago and we finally have
some days with a less stressing schedule. Our outreach team went for one
month to the South of Brazil close to the border with Paraguay. And then they will
go for another month to work with a church in the state of Sao Paulo.
We are looking forward to the long weekend off to get some rest and do some
things at home that had to wait for a long time.
But also with the DTS we are busy already to organize the next school that starts
July 9th. We are receiving still application forms of students that want to do the
DTS. And we are organizing our schedule for the teachers.

Neuigkeiten - April 2011
Inzwischen sind unsere Studenten auf Missionseinsatz. Für einen Monat bleiben
sie in Amambai, nahe der Grenze zu Paraguai. Dannach gehen sie für einen
weiteren Monat nach Sao Miguel (Sao Paulo) In beiden Gemeinden werden
sie herausgefordert, das in die Praxis umzusetzen, was sie im Unterricht
gelernt haben.

Carnaval em Ouro Preto 2011
Este ano a JOCUM também organizou um impacto evangelístico no carnaval de Ouro Preto. Nós fomos com 350 Jocumeiros e pessoas de varias igrejas para falar lá sobre o amor de Jesus e como Ele quer mudar a vida das pessoas. Nos cinco dias nós participamos no desfile dos blocos e evangelizamos as pessoas nas ruas a noite. Foi um tempo muito abençoado.
Para muitos alunos da nossa ETED foi a primeira vez de participar em um evangelismo completamente diferente.
Carnival Ouro Preto 2011
This year YWAM organized again an evangelism impact event at the Carnival of Ouro Preto. With about 350 people from different churches and missions we went to tell people about the love of Jesus and how He wants to change their lives. the five days have been a huge blessing and we reached out to people through parades, intercession times and street evangelism at the parties that were going on all night. It has been a really good experience for our DTS team; for most of our students this was the first time to participate in such an unconventional evangelism.
Karneval Ouro Preto 2011
Auch in diesem Jahr hat JmeM wieder einen Evangelisationseinsatz während des Karnevals in Ouro Preto organisiert. Wir waren fünf Tage lang mit ca. 350 Leuten von der Mission und verschiedenen Gemeinden zusammen, um den Menschen die Hoffnung und Erfüllung für ihr Leben zu zeigen, die nur Jesus geben kann.
Wir haben an Umzügen teigenommen und sind jeden abend auf die Strassenfeste gegangen, um Menschen von Jesus zu erzählen, für sie zu beten oder einfach nur zuzuhören.
Es war eine super Zeit für uns als DTS Team und für viele von unseren Studenten war es das erste Mal, an einer so ungewöhnlichen Evangelisation teilzunehmen.
1° aniversário da Emily
No dia 23 de dezembro 2010 a Emily fez um ano. É claro que nós quisemos celebrar isto com todos os nossos amigos. Então organizamos uma festa de bailarina aqui na Casa Luzeiro da Jocum. Foi uma festa pink e marrom e a Emily arrazou de bailarina maravilhosa.

Emily's birthday
December 23rd we celebrated Emily's first birthday. This is a big event here in Brazil so we organized a big birthday party here in the Light House. Together with friends we arranged a pink and brown ballerina party and Emily was such a wonderful little ballerina. We love you!!

Emilys Geburtstag
Emily hatte am 23. Dezember 2010 ihren ersten Geburtstag und wir haben das natürlich gefeiert. Aber hier in Brasilien feiert man den ersten Geburtstag ganz gross und das ging natürlich so kurz vor Weihnachten nicht. Wir haben deshalb beschlossen, ihren Geburtstag im Februar zu feiern und das Thema für das Fest war: Ballerina.
Emily war eine wunderschöne kleine Ballerina und wir haben das Fest bei uns in der Mission organisiert und zusammen mit Freunden vorbereitet. Es war ein voller Erfolg.

Megacities - English
In the metro, in schools, and on the streets - more than
1500 kids, adolescent, youth and adults heard the gospel;
more than 40 people accepted Jesus as their personal savior,
we were able to pray for hundreds of people and we were able
to train people from several churches, and a lot more...
The two months of outreach went by so fast and now
we had already our DTS graduation in November
and our students are spread again all over the world.
With the DTS team we encouraged many people in Mexico and
it was a very special time for our DTS but also for us as a family.

Foi um tempo muito abençoado e nós oramos por muitas pessoas
e treinamos obreiros em varias igrejas, e muito mais.
Os dois meses no México passaram tão rápido e em Novembro
tínhamos a formatura da nossa ETED em Belo Horizonte.
Depois nossos alunos voltaram para casa. Queremos agradecer
a Deus por este tempo de prático, porque foi um tempo bem
especial para a nossa ETED como também para nossa família.

Jugendliche und Erwachsene haben das Evangelium gehört, über

Zwei Monate gehen so schnell rum. Wir sind wieder zurück,
hatten die Abschlussfeier im November und unsere Studenten sind
wieder über die ganze Welt verstreut.
Mit unserem DTS Team konnten wir viele Menschen ermutigen und
die Zeit in Mexiko war eine besondere Zeit für uns als DTS aber auch
für uns als Familie.
